Happy New Year!

This year, I launched In the Cut, a blog on my website. "In the cut" means" in a state of being deeply involved or immersed in something". If you can imagine it visually, it’s the place in the back corner where you ponder without interruption. It’s where you entertain thoughts that generate “hmmms, ahhhhs, oh boys, and what the heck?” Rhetorical questions and those requiring a discussion. Or, even better, those that generate deeper, richer question or reflections.

In 2026, I launched a series of interviews on LinkedIn called In the Cut Leadership Conversations. After featuring 12 incredible leaders, I took a bit of a break over the last few months and I’m glad to say that this series of conversations will be back in the coming few weeks. I am so very grateful to the leaders with whom I spoke this year and the folks coming forward in 2026 are equally outstanding.

In 1Q 2026, I’ll be launching Leadership Language which are focused blogs, articles and ruminations on the importance of not only what we say as leaders, but how we say it and to whom we are speaking. The voice of leadership is more important now than ever before as we grapple with decisions that leap over geographic borders, nurture global teams often comprised of 4 generations of colleagues, and navigate our own careers in times of great uncertainty. I’m often tapped to help leaders re-language themselves for effectiveness and impact. I’m looking forward to sharing what my corporate, nonprofit, entrepreneurial and volunteer leadership roles have taught me. And later in 2026, you’ll see another new series entitled Operational Excellence where writings will connect the themes of organizational strategy, growth and transformation and their importance in generating measurable impact.

This body of work represents the nexus of my professional excellence. The collection of topics presented through interviews, writings and exploration energizes me and my desire to know and do more.

2026 feels different already! If astrology intrigues you, 2026 is a year of massive new beginnings. It’s to be a year of radical innovation, societal transformation and deep personal resets focused on authenticity, technology and community action. It’s to be a year of spiritual awakening (ask me about that as I recently returned from a 17-day journey to Egypt), idealism and activism. 2026 is a “1” year in numerology signaling a fresh start, leadership and the setting of the stage for a new 9-year cycle. All of this calls for a higher level of consciousness as change driven by technological advances remains revolutionary in thought and action.

I am already energized by what 2026 is ushering in. Here’s to a mission inspired year where we will generate impact – transformational impact – that exceeds our wildest imaginations!
